The Pure Bites contain 20% fermentation protein – a protein source created through the fermentation of microorganisms that ensures a really great taste.
In addition, we have added taurine – essential for your cat's heart function, among other things.
The recipe is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for sensitive cats.
Since fermentation protein is an entirely new type of bacterial protein, allergies and cross-reactions are extremely unlikely.

For comparison: The most common food allergens in cats include beef (18%), fish (17%), and chicken (5%)* – all proteins that are deliberately not used in Pure Bites.
This creates a snack that is optimally suited for the selective, sensitive cat – with an innovative protein source that specifically avoids allergenic potential.

Without questionable phosphorus additives

Many conventional pet foods rely on inorganic phosphates such as sodium hexametaphosphate or phosphoric acid – substances that can increase palatability, but can cause scientifically documented kidney damage** and other health problems.
We at VEGDOG deliberately refrain from using any inorganic phosphorus additives in our snacks.
