From 23/03/2026 (SIMPLY CRUNCH) and 30/03/2026 (FARMER’S CRUNCH), you will receive our popular dry food varieties in new packaging and adjusted sizes. We have further developed the packaging for our Crunch varieties – with clear goals: more freshness, better everyday usability, and improved recyclability. In short: Nothing changes regarding the quality, only the exterior is getting better.


What does that mean in concrete terms?

FARMER’S CRUNCH and SIMPLY CRUNCH are getting a packaging upgrade.


Why are we doing this?

It is important to us that our food reaches you well protected. Previously, our bags were made of white paper with a coating. In the future, we will use a monomaterial – i.e., packaging made of only one material. This allows it to be easily disposed of in the recycling bin.

Currently, this is the best way for us to reconcile freshness, shelf life, and good recyclability.

Millet has been replaced with rice at a 1:1 ratio. Why rice? Because it is exceptionally easy to digest. Sensitive dogs in particular often tolerate rice very well – and generally enjoy eating it, too. 

What stays the same:

  • Developed by veterinarians and formulated to be nutritionally complete
  • Well-suited for sensitive dogs and allergy sufferers
  • Gluten-free and free from whole legumes
  • Based on the latest scientific findings
  • Tastes especially delicious, thanks to a special yeast ingredient
  • Low in purine – suitable for dogs that require a low-purine diet*

*Our SIMPLY CRUNCH contains approximately 19 mg of purine per 100 g (or around 21 mg per 100 g in dry matter). This value is well below the guideline of 40 mg per 100 g of dry matter mentioned in a 2013 study*. You can find more information on the topic of "purine" here.

What else is important to us

We do not make such decisions for marketing reasons, but out of responsibility. If packaging does not reliably protect the food, we must act. Our commitment to quality applies to every product – without exception.
