Ingredients for the batter
- 100 g oat flour
- 1 tsp cream of tartar or organic baking powder (CAUTION: Regular baking powder contains inorganic phosphorus)
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp applesauce (unsweetened)
- 150 ml plant-based milk (e.g., oat or soy)
- 1 tbsp flax flour or ground flaxseeds, mixed in 3 tbsp hot water (= egg substitute)
- 1 tsp sunflower oil (optional)
Ingredients for the topping
- 100 g tofu or silken tofu
- 1 tbsp plant-based yogurt (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp peanut butter (100%, no additives)
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Some grated carrot for decoration (optional)
- VISH OIL

The dog cupcakes are ready in no time and can be prepared without much effort. Even if you aren't a pro at baking, this recipe is guaranteed to turn out well. Simply follow our step-by-step guide and conjure up a healthy treat for your furry friend in no time:
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat) and prepare your muffin tins.
- Mix the oat flour and baking powder in a bowl.
- Mash the banana and add it to the flour mixture along with the applesauce, plant-based milk, and the prepared egg substitute. Mix well and add the sunflower oil.
- Distribute the finished batter evenly into the muffin tins and bake the cupcakes for about 20–25 minutes. Perform a toothpick test to ensure they are baked through.
- While the muffins are cooling, mix the tofu, plant-based yogurt, peanut butter, and cinnamon into a creamy mixture.
- Once the muffins have cooled, garnish them with the tofu cream – ideally using a piping bag to achieve a nice shape.
- Decorate the cupcakes with grated carrot or a dog biscuit. For the finishing touch, you can add a few drops of VISH OIL over the cupcakes.
