I was born in Bulgaria at the beginning of 2020. I spent the first few months there on the streets with my brother Buddy, feeding on scraps and garbage.

Two kind ladies found us at Easter 2020 and gave us a temporary home. Incidentally, this is where we met VEGDOG Finn, as he moved in with us a short time later. We got along great immediately!

Our foster home paid for food and vaccinations themselves, as animal welfare is their top priority. They only accept donations to pay for food, harnesses, and transport costs. By the way, the three of us were given sensitive food because Finn got diarrhea from other food. But we liked it too! In any case, everything is better than what we found on the street.

We were in the best and most loving hands there and are very grateful that we were so well cared for and given a second chance.

Buddy, Finn, and I have all found a family in Germany – at first, we were even all in Augsburg! So we were able to remain friends. However, our departure to Germany was significantly delayed because of Corona, as the borders were closed.

But on July 19, 2020, the time had finally come: a married couple brought Finn and me to Germany by car, fully vaccinated, chipped, and equipped with our passports – how exciting that was! There I met my human: My Nadja! A new chapter in life began for us.

Today, however, Nadja and I live in Munich. Finn and Annika do too, so we can still go for walks together regularly – Finn and I think that’s great!

Admittedly, I didn't make it easy for Nadja at first. I was very fearful, especially around men. Walks were also a challenge because I was terrified of almost everything and would run away; I wouldn't even let myself be caught again in the garden.

I simply had great difficulty learning to trust. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell Nadja what exactly happened to me during my young years on the street.

But Nadja was so patient with me, and after only a few months, I was a new dog: curious and bright – as it should be for a young dog. And Nadja and I have become a great team, and I now trust her blindly!

My fear of people (even men!) has subsided, and today I love being petted and cuddling. Especially with Finn’s mom, Annika – I especially like her! I am so happy for Finn that he was just as lucky as I was to find such a wonderful home!

Even though the lockdown brought many challenges for many people, it was great for me because Nadja was writing her master's thesis at the time, and we could be together day in and day out. As a result, we are simply inseparable today!

In the spring of 2021, I unfortunately developed very unpleasant skin problems. Everything itched, and I scratched my front and hind legs. That unfortunately didn't help, so I licked them a lot. My skin became dry, red, and bald. You can surely imagine how unpleasant that was. And it looked silly, too.

Since it didn't get any better, Nadja took me to the vet. The vet suspected that I had an allergy to grass. Nadja was skeptical, however, since no improvement occurred and the symptoms hadn't appeared the previous year either. So I was given tablets for the itching. They did help, but as soon as Nadja stopped them, the symptoms came back.

During a second vet visit, an allergy was confirmed. So I was given an allergy shot, and the vet recommended switching to food for allergy sufferers. Thus, Nadja tried out such a food.

However, through contact with Annika, who is responsible for the cool graphics at VEGDOG, Nadja came across GREEN CRUNCH, and I simply love it. Especially with a splash of oat milk, it’s irresistible!

Nadja assumes that the food plays a very major role. Because as soon as I eat something else, I start licking again immediately and the red spots come back.
That is why Nadja has now ordered GREEN CRUNCH for all the households I spend time in, so that I can eat symptom-free everywhere. Isn't she great?

By the way, I also love the BEEVYS and JERKEYS – they smell incredibly good. I always go crazy for them and almost bite Nadja's fingers off. By accident, of course!

How envious I am of Finn, that he is at the source and always gets to test new products – who knows, maybe I'll get to someday, too?

By the way, Nadja would also like to say something: “Thanks to this great food, Lou can now continue to develop symptom-free. I love her very much and she enriches every day. It was the absolute right decision to adopt her! I can only recommend that to everyone.”
